I confess that, even though I denounce most new age stuff as hokey mind tricks, that I have my horoscope sent to me by email every day. Someone subscribed me to this thing eons ago and I've never cancelled it because it amuses me. Today's entry: "Ghosts from your past may come back to haunt you, but they cannot harm you. Your best defense is to accept your memories as an integral part of your psyche. This doesn't, however, mean that these childhood or family remembrances are necessarily part of your present life. Your happiness depends upon you being able to discern the past from the present." Am I really so transparent that some lame email appirition can peg me and my problem du juor?

In other news, I consider my desire to purchase a Simon & Garfunkel album to be an afront to all things good about the world. The only excuse I can come up with is that I'm a social deviant who should be locked away. C'est la vie.
