At some point this week, I need to sift through the music collection for spring time driving music. Off the top of my head, I need to dig out the Cake, set aside my new STP Tiny Music... album, and while Kid A isn't quite a spring album, it is a good driving album. I foresee some quiet time spent sitting in my car someplace peaceful, a pair of headphones on my head and a notebook in my hands. Unless I decide to drag someone along with me that is. Maybe I'll just spend some quality time with the back porch. This is the time of year that I enjoy being outdoors. No humidity, no real heat, a gentle breeze. This is me at my most beautiful, under cover of starlight and darkness.
The weekend was not long enough, though that's probably due to the fact that it was pretty packed. Friday night I went and saw a show at Sumner, mostly because Meg asked me to and I'm a nice guy. The show had its moments. Then I dropped Dave off at my dad's and headed to the Point with Chrissy and Monkey for some dancing fool time. I am a dancing fool. Or a fool who dances. I'm not sure which. Saturday I came into the office for a few hours before catching Kill Bill Vol. 2 with Bob. The second installment forced me to reevaluate my opinion of the first volume. I now appreciate the saga as a whole as a quite excellent samurai western. Afterwards I picked up Leslie for some dinner at Chile's. Sunday I put in a couple more hours at work before heading to a most excellent BBQ. All in all, a great weekend.
