*laughs* is it sad that i think Jesse Ventura is one of the few sane politicians left? this wrestler turned actor turned politician actually knows what his job entails and isn't afraid to tell people. again, for the 3rd time (i think it's been the last 3 years...), he refused to make the proclamation to his state that it was National Day Of Prayer. Ventura has affirmed in the past that he feels "organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers. It tells people to go out and stick their noses in other people's business." Ventura is a firm believer in the seperation of church and state, believing that spiritual matters are not the job of the state.

so if the wrestler gets it, how come a bunch of old rich white guys can't?
