k33l m3. I think I eventually fell asleep at 4ish this morning. What's that you say? Didn't you have someplace to be at 6:30 am? Wouldn't you have needed to get up at, say, 5:30 am to be able to get there on time? You'd be right if that was your thought pattern. Luckily I got a little sleep yesterday afternoon, so I'll at least survive until we bail from here. I'm supposed to go hang out with Beth tonight, but I think I'm going to call her and cancel. Assuming I go home and sleep at 3:30 or 4, I'll sleep for at least 3 to 5 hours.

On the plus side, our electricity got turned back on yesterday. I got home to a gentle cool breeze coming out of every heating vent. Air conditioning is God's gift to mankind. The moment I got in the door, I laid down on the couch nearest to a vent and basked in the chilled, filtered air. Still won't have a working telephone line until next week, but I think we'll survive now.

And now, a test.

Theoretically, that image should show. I want to see if Yahoo's photo albums allow remote linking. If so, I've got 30 meg of image hosting I didn't know about. For those who weren't reading my journal back in September of 2001, that's a picture I took of a non-denominational church near my office that was under construction. I took the liberty of photoshopping it a little for effect (darkening it and giving it a generally ominous look), but the sign on the building is authentic.
