it's just a tumor in my head

So after a lot of soul searching, I've decided that I'm going to forego the Toad The Wet Sprocket roadtrip in favor of seeing Sage Francis in Iowa City. Musically and emotionally, I'm in more of a hip hop mood right now than an early 90's alternative mood. And so now I plot the trip. The concert is on Feb. 24th, a monday night, at 9:00 p.m., $10 tickets and all ages are welcome. That being laid out, anyone interested in going? My car can seat 4 comfortably, 5 easily (that means up to 4 other people for those who work off of sumner math). It's about a 5 hour road trip from here to Iowa City, so I'd say that if we leave at 4, we can get there as the opening act starts up. Still haven't decided if we'll attempt the drive back that night or not. It'll depend on how late the show goes on for, how awake everyone is, blah blah blah, so be warned that a night at a crappy motel may be in order (meaning be prepared to lose the following day if at least 2 of us aren't capable of making it 5 hours back). I'll be taking both monday and tuesday off, so I'll be well rested before leaving and probably have it in me to drive home afterwards, but that's well-wishing at best.

So, any takers? I'll loan my Sage Francis cd to anyone who needs a little persuading.
