am i selfish for getting ragingly pissed when someone volunteers me to do them a favor? i was walking by the front desk earlier and a gal from fundraising offered to pick our receptionist up something to eat for lunch. he wasn't interested in where she was getting food, but mentioned as i passed that "Maybe Sean will be going to Wendy's later...", as though i would a) be obligated to go there for lunch now, and b) automatically agree to go get him lunch. it's one thing when i offer to get lunch for a person. hell, if i'm asked politely, i don't have a problem with it. when i'm expected to, you better not bother me for the rest of the day because i'll sooner rip your face off than consider picking up lunch for you.

he just had to spoil my quiet monday.
