[Your mom ain't listening to |The Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love?]

It's been 8 days since I last posted. I'm still alive. Made it back into KC on Monday night. Scribble Jam was awesome. Jen summed it up pretty well, though I was not nearly as bitter about the rain as she was. It was interesting to watch all these indie hiphop folks running around at Scribble that I recognized, just hanging out with the rest of us regular folk. During the pouring rain on Saturday, I saw Dibbs just hanging out outside, wandering from booth to booth as if everything was cool. Later, after the rain stopped, we spotted him spraypainting white shirts for people (his shirt let the world know that he "EATS COCK POOP" on the back). Mac Lethal was also wandering around aimlessly, though I rarely saw him talking to anyone. I might have felt bad for him if he hadn't made so many references to things in Kansas City during his set on Saturday. All 7 people in the audience from KC had to be groaning in unison when he started refering to spending time in Wyandotte and Johnson counties. The other Scribble attendees didn't seem too impressed with him either. All in all, though, it was a good vacation. I came out of it with 12 new cds and 3 records (including an awesome Best Of Cosby album that Jen's bf gave me).
A live show from The Decemberists, courtesy of NPR's Live Concert Series and All Songs Considered. The last time I saw them, they sounded better than this recording, but that may have simply been because I was there.
There was going to be more of a post here, but the office kept me busy today. Blech.
Linkwhaddya think?
