Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel...

It seems that all I have to talk about these days is music. I'd apologize, but I don't want to. :P Today's discovery was not found in my tape collection, but on iTunes. Apparently a group of folky coffee shop-type females put together a Pink Floyd tribute album called Echoes Of Pink. I've been listening to samples from it and while not every track is superfantastico, it's not a bad album, you know, if you're into tribute albums and female folk artists. Jessica Goldman's "Hey You" rendition reminds me of Rent for some reason.

into this night i wander

he couldn't quite explain it, it'd always just been there...

a little mortar goes a long way
when did the wall get so high?
i spent so much time looking forward
i forgot to look back
when did the wall get so high?
i climbed over it as i was passing through
never thinking it'd grow as i marched on
there's nary a door or a window to the other side
when did the wall get so high?
my ears were too plugged up to hear
your pleas and prods to get me to return
i tuned it all out without a second thought
hadn't noticed you'd given up
now bricks are all i can see
when did the wall get so high?
