We're always on this rollercoaster... [Jan. 2nd, 2004|11:12 am]
[Your mom ain't listening to |Cake - Never There]

It's Friday already? It's going to take me a couple weeks to get my internal clock readjusted from the last two weeks. The urge to just leave early today is great, especially given the weather outside. It's supposed to hit somewhere around 65 today. I'd like to be outside. I'd like to take a nap. I'd like to do a lot of things that don't involve being in this office. Blah. Can you tell that I'm bitter about work? ;)

Hey Apple folks, I've got a story for you. Just thought you ought to know.

It hurts to always have to be honest to the one that you love... [Jan. 2nd, 2004|07:31 pm]
[Your mom ain't listening to |Brand New - The No Seatbelt Song]

The idea of going dark for awhile is shuffling around in my brain. No LJ, no instant message services, sparing use of the cell phone and email. I'm becoming an irritable grump who is easily frustrated by just about every creature capable of wearing pants. The number of people who I can endure right now is slim. It isn't them (at least not entirely), it's me. I'm in a place in my life right now where I need to feel the concrete beneath my feet and around my heart. This war is with myself. Until I take the enemy's head things won't be better.

If this does happen, it won't impact movie night. I may change my mind by morning.
