(no subject)

I am in Denver. The air is clean and my heart is as warm as a baked potato. :)

Last night we caught Atmosphere and the Rhymesayers crew at the Grenada. Brother Ali and Slug stole the show, but, for the most part, we had a good time. I think the best part was Slug doing a cover of "You Oughtta Know" from Alanis Morrisette. FunnAY. Yeah. I'm a loser. Picked up the Lucy Ford and Overcast albums from Atmosphere as well as Brother Ali's album and a disc done by his DJ.

The flight to Denver was pretty uneventful. I should've known that'd mean trouble. We got here and went to our hotel, only to find that it was the wrong hotel. After a little bit of checking around, we finally figured out where we were supposed to be. Now I'm here, abusing their complimentary internet computer. This thing is a P.O.S. I've got to hunt down some cat5 for my laptop for access in our room (I think I may be able to sucker some out of the front desk). Anyway, I'll probably be updating frequently during training (I anticipate a lot of boredom), so I apologize now for the possible posts. :)
