One of the most difficult lessons I've learned in life is that things are never as easy as you'd like them to be. It seems that the more important it is to you, the more complicated things get. The lesson that goes along with this one is that sometimes you have to take a leap of faith, regardless of the outcome, otherwise you're never going to get what you want. I've yet to accept the latter lesson. Maybe it's because things are always so complicated and I'm tired of living a complicated life. Living in a complicated world is fine, but a simple happy life in that complicated world would be fantastic, even for a short time. This brief moment of insanity brought to you by a dislike for the chasing game and the complications that it entails. If you think you know what this regards, you're probably wrong unless you're one particular person. That person doesn't know who they are, making this game even more fun.
