there is no reason in love and war

life never stays the same. every moment, every breath, every tiny insignificant thought, it changes things. no matter how much you long for consistency in life, it'll never happen. stopping for gas in the afternoon could effect the rest of your evening, or even the rest of your week. chance meetings, choice words, traffic accidents, friendship, love, pain, sadness, dreams and reality. only in death do we find consistency, the sleep of the blessed, the cursed, the unfortunate, the unloved, the rich, the poor, the faithful and the lost. permanency and consistency in eternal rest.

Disclaimer: i'm just fine. it's been a wonderful day and i'm in a great mood. anyone who fears for my safety is reading too much into my waxing poetic. :)
