Voodoo kills 3, more at 11... you know, if it took place in Louisiana, i might find it more feasible to believe that anyone really cares. but i thought Maryland was far enough north that people behaved a little more sensibly. first off, a woman doesn't need voodoo to manipulate a man into killing for her. nuff said. second, what better way to get away with things than to seem like some sort of crazy voodoo witch? you either get off for reasons of insanity or you get off because everyone is afraid of you. either way, you still get all that money. it's a shame our legal system is so often manipulated by religious lunacy, whether it be black magick, voodoo, or christian/catholic dogma. *sighs*

Elvis Costello is on Fresh Air currently...I'd long forgotten that I enjoyed his music. I think I may have to scrounge up some of his work this weekend...
