The world isn't run by weapons anymore, or energy, or money. It's run by little ones and zeroes, little bits of data. It's all just electrons...

"Part of what American life and culture is all about is not only the nobility of the Constitution, it's not only the wonder of the American experiment, it's not only its ability to actually fulfill some of the dreams that it put down on paper. Part of it is also about Britney Spears' navel. It feels very odd saying this, but one would really hope that this has not somehow taken frivolity away from American culture. We were good at it. We liked it. We celebrated it. And I would hate to see it gone entirely."
