*chuckles* they are debating light-rail on the radio....it's amusing listening to a capitalist fearing man who thinks everything we do is going to be paying companies to rip us off versus a guy who sounds like a hippy tree-hugger who thinks everything is all good and nice and that light-rail is a beautiful idea. it reminds me of the episode of the simpsons where they brought in the monorail. :)

ok, now the outages are starting to bug me slightly. that takes some effort. hopefully Brad will get the servers all hooked up today. i think i read in his journal that they had arrived whilst he was in Portland visiting family and that he would be coming up to seattle for the day to install them. *crosses fingers*

well crap

i called the dealership to see about how much it would cost to get my wiring fixed. the last time i asked them about it, the guy was pretty flaky about it and said anywhere from $75 to $400, depending on whether or not they would have to replace parts of the computer. i just called them again to see if i got a different estimate and as a refresher in case i remembered wrong. $100 to $600. blech. i'm going to wait another month before taking it in i guess. i'll just have to make sure to show restraint as far as spending for the next month. shouldn't be too hard. i'll just remember that it's sweltering outside. blech...
