this reminds me of Stan and his Pink Floyd shirt. now that's comedy. a 60-ish school district administrator, in a Floyd the Barber/Pink Floyd t-shirt. *chuckles* i hope i'm as amusing and laid back as Stan when i'm old. :)

so i've decided that i need to find another way to make some money on top of my job i already have. i'd rather not go out and get another part time job, at least until my break. i think i'll figure out my schedule for classes next semester and see where i can squeeze in a second job. i really would like the money. i could get by with what i make now, but i would be more comfortable with slightly more cash flowing into my pocket.

along a similar vein, though it isn't something that is due to my greed, i've decided i'm going to begin fasting, to an extent. i'm going to do a little minor research and get some relatively healthy foods that are inexpensive to live off of, for the most part, for the next month or so to see how my body will respond. there are several reasons: a) i need to eat healthier in general. i've been trying to eat more and more healthy as of late, but now it's time to finally just kick myself into gear and do it; b) i'd like to ween myself onto a healthier diet that is also inexpensive so as to perhaps save myself some money that is definitely wasted on lunch at everyday; c) i just feel the need to, so sue me =P

so any suggestions on either? your input is valued. ;)

OUCH!!! i'm looking at the classes i'm projected to be taking next semester and trying to setup my schedule. it appears that i'll be having to take an afternoon/evening schedule...*shudder* worse yet, tues, weds, and thurs i'll be stuck there until 10 at night. plus, i'll be needing to come to work in the morning, which means i'll be here bright and early at 8:30 or so. 19 credits. that's almost a double full schedule...i think i'll be dropping a class from next semesters schedule, probably stats...that'll free up my mondays and tuesday afternoon, letting me be able to get some work done and such. *sighs* stupid college...

i wish i knew enough about writing script and such to decently edit a large portion of our database here at work. one of my ongoing projects is to change the date entered field on about 15,000+ accounts from dates such as 2095 to 1995...it seems that a place that we get occasional account updates from didn't have y2k compliant computers, so when they last sent us accounts and account info, it all had bad dates. if i knew enough C code, i could throw down a C program to go through the accounts and have it change the dates automatically. unfortunately, i don't. unfortuantely, the people who created this program went bust a couple years ago, so there is no hope of getting them to provide a fix either. *sighs*

[Somedays I feel a little: |determineddetermined]

i propose that bradfitz and/or evan and/or dormando are behind the debacle that is Smithbrad/Amenlover. why do i make such a radical proposition? consider the point in time at which Amenlover really came upon the scene. at about that time, Brad was enduring politically correct jabs from overly sensitive twerps who felt that they could cause a fervor throughout livejournal by bitching about everything he ever said. at the same time, he'd been talking about a "secret project" that he was working on for livejournal, something that only his really close compatriots knew about. soon thereafter, amenlover came upon the scene. much of the attention that would have normally been devoted to berating Brad for something or another was turned to Amenlover and everyone's need to thrash him for his bigotted, hate-filled beliefs. suddenly most of LJ was leaving Brad alone and focusing their attention on the Amen Circus. how coincidental...

another thing to note: nventure.com is a puget sound based internet provider and web service providing internet access and connection to the seattle area. but amenlover lives in Florida, supposedly...or does he? ba ba ba bum! this suggests that it has to be someone in the seattle area, which is about a 1000+ LJ members. probably more like 2000 actually. it could even be you Lurker. yes, you... :) probably not though, cause i doubt you're that bored. i'm slowly but surely narrowing this all down...

Addendum: Brad claims he isn't...damn...oh well.

i just made a friends only post concerning, whom i think is quite likely, the true amenlover! i think i've finally figured it out. if nothing else, i've narrowed it down to a region where he is at (and it sure ain't florida...)
