i've got a brilliant idea for safety on the airlines. why don't we start requiring passengers to take a mild sedative once they step onto the plane to ensure that they are docile beasts for the ride. measure the dosage for the amount of time that the people will be in the air. hell, they could just start labeling these sedatives by flight durations instead of by dosage amounts. why need to worry about passengers if they're too drugged up to move?
